Juneteenth, a federal holiday observing the end of slavery, is officially recognized on June 19th. Our calendar initially marked June 19th as the day we were closed in observance. However, in Utah, Juneteenth is observed on a Monday each year, which falls on June 17th in 2024.
June 17th was initially scheduled as the last day for our Monday/Wednesday classes this term.
However, the final day for Monday/Wednesday classes for our current term will now be June 12th. The attendance policy remains unchanged: perfect attendance is required for double credit eligibility, and more than one absence will result in failing the class.
The Tuesday/Thursday class schedule remains unchanged, with the last day being June 13th.
Entrada will be closed on June 17th and open our regular evening hours on June 19th.
