About Us

Who We Are

Welcome to Entrada Adult Education — where second chances lead to new beginnings.

We are a dedicated adult education program committed to helping learners of all backgrounds reach their academic, career, and personal goals. Whether you’re returning to school after time away, working toward your high school diploma or GED, or improving your English — you belong here.

Our program serves students ages 16 and up, offering flexible, supportive, and high-quality instruction in a welcoming environment. We understand the unique challenges adult learners face, and we’re here to provide the tools, guidance, and encouragement needed to succeed.

Our Mission

At Entrada, our mission is to empower adult learners through education, providing the support, skills, and opportunities needed to finish high school, build English language skills, pursue meaningful work, continue to college, and become strong role models in their families and communities.

What We Offer

  • High School Diploma Completion
Finish what you started — it’s never too late. Our diploma program allows you to earn the credits you need to graduate from high school. We’ll work with you to review your transcript, develop a personalized plan, and support you every step of the way to help you reach this important milestone.

  • GED Courses and Practice Tests
Prepare with confidence. Our GED prep classes cover all four subject areas — math, science, social studies, and language arts — with experienced instructors who focus on the skills you need to pass. You’ll also have access to official practice tests to help you know when you’re ready for the real thing.

  • English Language Learner (ELL) Classes
Build your English skills in a supportive setting. Our ELL program helps students at all levels improve in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Classes are welcoming, interactive, and focused on real-world communication to help you succeed in school, at work, and in your community.

  • Flexible Class Schedules
Our program is designed with busy adults in mind. You can choose the days and times that work best for you. Unlike traditional high schools, you don’t need to commit to a full-day schedule — we’ll help you build one that fits your life.

  • Small Class Sizes
You won’t get lost in the crowd. Our smaller class sizes mean more individual attention, stronger relationships with teachers, and a learning environment where you’re seen and supported.

  • Supportive Staff and Student Advocate Services
From your first day to graduation, our team is here to help you succeed — in and out of the classroom. Our friendly, dedicated staff will make sure you feel welcome and supported. You’ll also have access to our student advocate, who can connect you with resources for housing, food, transportation, mental health services, and more. Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to face it alone.

  • College and Career Readiness Support
We help you plan for what’s next. Whether you’re thinking about college, job training, or entering the workforce, we offer one-on-one support with applications, resumes, financial aid, and more. You’ll gain the confidence and tools to take your next step with purpose.
